Having the opportunity to explore your feelings within a non-judgemental relationship will enable you to find your own resources and resilience. Whether you are struggling to come to terms with bereavement or any type of trauma, counselling can help you through the process and enable you to reflect on the past and gain confidence in the future. By using honesty, warmth and empathy in a non-judgmental way I work towards enabling you to break free from seeing yourself as a victim of circumstance and help promote a greater sense of self control, choice and self-acceptance.
Unique Personnel Therapy
I work both on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of helping you to enhance your life and to live it to the full. As a counsellor in bereavement therapy in Brighton I have not only gained expertise in enabling people to come to terms with their grief but also the additional traumas linked to loss such as anger, guilt and shame. People seek counselling for many different reasons and at all stages of life. Often people don't always know why they would like counselling now but they recognise they feel stuck and would like some support.
