My Qualifications: -
I completed my training at Brighton University and have a Post Graduate Diploma in Humanistic Counselling and an MSc in psychotherapy. I have gained specific training and expertise in the field of bereavement and continue to work as a bereavement support volunteer and supervisor with CRUSE. However, I also have a wide experience working with many different client groups and also carry out voluntary work for other counselling agencies. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and I am bound by and adhere to its Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I have both indemnity and public liability insurance.
My Approach: -
I work within an integrative framework using ideas from Existential Therapy, Transactional- Analysis, Person- Centred and Gestalt modalities. Witnessing the difference counselling can make to people's lives makes me proud to be involved in and passionate about the profession.
