Registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist in Henfield, West Sussex.
DUE TO THE CURRENT SITUATION WITH COVID-19 I AM OFFERING TO WORK WITH CLIENTS BOTH ON-LINE AND VIA TELEPHONE.
Welcome and thank you for visiting my website. There are times in all our lives when we feel that we could benefit from some support. If life feels like its getting on top of you, perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed, suffering from stress, anxiety, problems with addiction or panic attacks or coming to terms with bereavement, counselling provides the availability of time and space in order for you to explore any problems you may be encountering in your daily life or any issues that may be troubling you from the past. Together we can work to remove any blocks that may be preventing you from living your life to the full.
It happens when you are ready to face the questions
you have been avoiding your whole life."

Counselling and psychotherapy in West Sussex
As a fully qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, based in West Sussex, I am an understanding listener who offers support, empathy and warmth. Together we can explore how you are living your life, your thoughts and your feelings. We can see how experiences in your past impact on your life today and how they may be influencing the way you think, how you feel and even the way you behave. Therapy can help you to develop your self-awareness and understanding of who you are in the world and in turn offer a greater range of choices in your life. I can assist you to explore your understanding of yourself and by providing a safe and confidential environment I am able to help you to enhance your sense of control and choice over your life. Having the opportunity to explore your feelings within a non-judgemental relationship will enable you to find your own resources and resilience. Whether you are struggling to come to terms with bereavement or any type of trauma, counselling can help you through the process and enable you to reflect on the past and gain confidence in the future. By using honesty, warmth and empathy I work towards enabling you to break free from seeing yourself as a victim of circumstance and help promote a greater sense of self control, choice and self-acceptance.
Unique Personnel Therapy
I work both on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of helping you to enhance your life and to live it to the full. As a counsellor in bereavement therapy in Brighton I have not only gained expertise in enabling people to come to terms with their grief but also the additional traumas linked to loss such as anger, guilt and shame. People seek counselling for many different reasons and at all stages of life. Often they don't always know why they would like counselling now but they recognise they feel stuck and would like some support.
