Supervision
Supervision is a joint venture …
For me, supervision is a contracted arrangement between a supervisor and supervisee, within which the supervisee feels supported whilst they discuss, in depth, their work with clients.
My philosophy of supervision is that it is a joint venture inspiring the desire to attend to the needs of the client and the context in which they are presented. I therefore encourage supervisees to use supervision to stand back from their work, reflect, and engage with the understanding that problematic situations often lead to the discovery of new meanings.
